Well, we were at the mall the other day doing some Christmas shopping, Madi was being a good girl, listening and staying close. While in one of he stores she found a small plastic red bead she called a berry. She would bounce it and run after it, so I didn't think anything of her playing with it. We just get to the store we wanted to go to, when I hear Madi sneeze and sneeze, so I ask her if she needs a tissue and she says no. I continue to shop around and she tells me she has a berry in her nose! I think she's kidding and ask her to repeat herself, and she tells me the same thing, "Mama, I have a berry in my nose" So I pick her up, take her to Michael and tell him what she told me. He of course he freaks out and we leave the mall right away. The whole way out, he's asking her why she did it and that he can't believe she would do something like that. So once we are out in the car, I call the doctor and he gives us some suggestions on how to get it out and says that if we can't get it out, to take her in so he could use forceps. We go home and try almost everything and it still won't budge. So daddy comes to the rescue and gets it out, but the best part of this story is how he does it......he sucked it out with a straw! After everything was OK, I ask her why she put the thing in her nose and she said, "Because the berry was hiding!" Crazy, crazy girl!
