What a fun time we had slipping into a pair of bellbottoms

tripping back to when love was free


peace was the sign of the times

and polyester was the fiber of choice.

If you can't already tell, we gave my mom a 70's themed 5oth birthday party. We also hired a dance instructor for a little pre-party the night before, it was strictly for her and her sisters. And from the feedback everyone had a blast both nights. I sure am glad because we put alot of work into it. I have a new found respect for party planners, that is one hard job. But thank God, in the end, it all came together nicely. It's so much fun when family comes together.
